Our hood's patent pending design offers many unique features at no additional cost.

These hoods are one of the most popular of all hood models because of their design. They can be used in variety of different
applications. These hoods are designed for installations where there is not a drop or T-Bar ceiling. And/or there is very limited or no attic space above the hood. It is much more cost effective to
return the make-up-air through one 12' x 24' hood connection in lieu of multiple cut-outs in the ceiling for diffusers or diffuser plenum boxes.
These hoods also have a very unique feature. They have manually controlled down-air-discharge system, This system allows spot cooling
for the cooking staff, and helps to offset radiant heat from the cooking equipment. Members of the cooking staff can open and close dampers as desired by means of an adjustable lever. Discharge
velocities must be carefully selected to avoid turbulence, discomfort to staff and potential cooling of the cooking surface.

These hoods should be installed in areas where there is very little variation in seasonal temperatures, or where the HVAC system is
sized adequately to temper the make-up-air. Delivery of the make-up-air through the front face of the hood allows for no disruptive turbulence, allowing 90% of the exhausted air to be replaced by air
returned through the hood's make-up-air chamber.

We have three different models to choose from depending upon the type of equipment designed for the individual hood system. Attached are
the following models and specifications. Choose the model best suited for your application.
Ventilation Technology highly recommends, where applicable, use of our high temperature model so that if an equipment change is ever
required, the hood will be capable of handling any type of equipment up to 600 degrees.
Please note that these hoods require a 12" x 24" make-up-air connection. A factory supplied collar must be installed in accordance with
factory specifications. If for any reason the is not installed. The UL listing will be void and all warranties written and/or implied will be canceled.
Note: To assure maximum hood performance, the external make-up-air should not be less than 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Due to individual installations
where balanced become a problem and/or there are uncontrollable cross-drafts, optional hood side panels may be required to obtain thermal updraft, duel capture of cooking effluent and products of combustion.
